Consumers are advised that Feel Good Foods, of New York, New York, has recalled its Gluten-Free Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels in the Plain and Everything flavors due to the potential presence of undeclared gluten from cross-contamination.
Individuals who live with an allergy or sensitivity to gluten should not consume the products, as doing so could result in a major allergic reaction.
Announced by the company on April 12, 2024, the voluntary recall covers Gluten-Free Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels that were distributed and made available for purchase in the frozen section of retail stores across the country.
Packages of Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels in Plain will bear UPC (Universal Product Code) 89903900283 while Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels in Everything will be stamped with UPC 89903900286. Both varieties of the product can be identified by cardboard cartons with the label “Feel Good Foods” prominently displayed on the front panel, along with the bagel flavor indicated below. Consumers should note that products under all Best-By dates between 5/29/24 and 9/17/25 are covered under the recall. While the date can be found in the bottom of the carton, an affected product may also be found to have two labeling styles because of a redesign of the package.
Anyone who may have purchased one of the above products is asked to discard of the item safely and to refrain from consuming the items to prevent an adverse reaction, of which Feel Good Foods has received one report consumer report to the date of the letter. At the time of the report, Feel Good Foods was working to recall the product and applying learnings to mitigate future risks.
Consumers are encouraged to stop consuming the product and to visit their local Feel Good Foods-selling retail store in order to receive a complete refund.
