Due to the potential presence of three undeclared allergens, East Windsor, Connecticut-based Geisslers Supermarket Inc. has recalled all of its EZnoble Sushi-produced sushi products made available for purchase on 3/26/2024 and 3/27/2024 and with corresponding sell-by dates of 3/27/2024 and 3/28/2024.
Individuals who live with an allergy or sensitivity to egg, wheat, or milk are advised against consuming the products to avoid the risk of a major, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction.
Initiated by Geisslers Supermarket Inc. on March 29, 2024, the recall covers products that were distributed to Geisslers Supermarket stories in East Windsor, South Windsor, Windsor, Bloomfield, Somers, and Granby in Connecticut, as well as Agawam in Massachusetts.
The sushi products come in clear plastic packages with a yellow and white Geisslers Supermarket Inc. emblem and sushi type listed on the label across the top. The UPC (Universal Product Code) of each product, as well as the store location, can be found at the bottom of each label.

The March 29, 2024 FDA announcement notes that EZ Noble Sushi products were recalled in 2022 for undeclared allergens due to labeling issues which had not been corrected.
Anyone who may be in possession of sushi products purchased at a Geisslers Supermarket Inc. location on 3/26/2024 or 3/27/2024 is urged to return the items to the point of purchase for a complete refund.
